Welcome to my fighting and trading journey
And what a bloody journey.
I was raised in a tough London borough; that was fun and at times viciously cruel. Fighting was a part of growing up and sometimes impossible to avoid. Bermondsey was uncompromisingly racist. I was shaped by this urban upbringing, jaunting along until nearing the age of 30, I met the most amazing man.
He just happened to be black, Muslim and just about as far polar opposite to me as is possible. The first thing I noticed about him was how much he laughed, the second was how he could fight. Better than you can imagine.
This adventure inspired me to write my first novel, Digor. I would humbly suggest it is a guide for anyone wishing to learn to fight, where perhaps to start.
ROADMAP
As we grow, we do so in fits and starts, lurching forward then back, sometimes looking more like clowns than seekers.
The fight to become a consistent profitable trader has been far tougher than any physical fight. It is nothing short of absolute torture and heartache that one puts oneself through taking this path. Yet it is one I took on, it is my passion, I have spent years observing candlestick charts. I have been fucked over by professional financial advisors, I have paid for courses, mentors, and hemorrhaged money faster than a rat up a drainpipe. I thought I knew enough but realised I knew little. Gradually I began to treadwater; in trading terms that is a big deal. Don't get me wrong I am still capable of sabotaging everything, blowing accounts by breaking every rule in the book. But, here I am currently trying out with a prop firm. I intend to blog annually my progress.
Once I can walk the walk I will talk the talk, a next book and lessons for anyone wishing to take on the challenge of trading or investing.
